I recently had the pleasure to sign on with a great company and designer.  Sage & Clover will now be representing Max Martini !! This is a very, very beautiful clothing line. Max the owner is a great man and very talented designer. He has a Men's, Women, Children and Jean line. Each one just as beautiful as the next.
I am very excited to be working with such talent and to top it off a really nice designer. Max and I have had the chance to speak at length and we definitely are on the same page as far as passion for the fashion industry and a personal drive for life long goals.

Hey everyone so I hope you all had a chance to read Matt U's Bio. It's great right?!!! Just love the story and he really has talent.
Not only does Matt have amazing talent he is also a great person. I have had the chance to talk to Matt many times and I have to say I developed a great friend in Matt. He truly cares about his passion. It is just so refreshing , he is true to his work and the team he works with.

With traditional roots in the Caribbean nation of Jamaica and his Birthright in Staten Island, New York, Matt U brings a new and improved flavor to the music industry. His lyrical singing style is unique at best, blending solid elements of Pop, R&B, Hip Hop and Reggae along with soca. The sounds are dynamically irresistible creating an atmosphere of get up jump, move your body and feet or sit back and relax allowing the conscious lyrics to transcend and take you to another place. Matt U has done both musical and modeling shows in New York City, the South West, United States and in various countries in Europe; He has walked down the runways for the legendary Wilhelmina modeling agency at the Mercedes-Benz fashion show on Fashion Week 2012. He has had an interview with R&B singer Ashanti. Also being interviewed by New York 1 News channel, New York Rocks television show, as well as been in the pioneer showcase of CTV a local cable television network in New York. Matt U has made appearances at such venues as the Madison square garden film festival, the Apollo Theater in Harlem and MTV’s total request live show, and the world famous Sugar bar.

He has opened up for Reggae Super Stars Buju Banton, I- Wayne; He appeared in the Grammy – Award Winning band Steel Pulse music video “The Door of No Return” in a cameo scene. Matt U also dabbled in the acting genre. He has acted in The Sophomore which starred motion picture star Bruce Willis, the movie “Fighting”, the W.B.’s TV show –“Gossip Girl”, daytime televisions “One Life to Live”, and the film “Nights of Prosperity” doing minor roles as an extra and walk-on. Recently, Matt U has done recruitment commercials for the United States Army that will be shown nationwide in 2013.

This strongly driven artist has worked with music producers such as computer Paul Henton, whom has produced for established musical talents Akon, Inner Circle and others. Hey everyone, well Sage & Clover is back working for a little while as of the moment here in NY but will be back in NC soon.  So excited for being able to expand beteween the North and South !!
We are really doing big things here, and have added some really amazing designers with lines for both men and women!!

Sage &  Clover is also expanding and working with really talented music artists to get them to an amazing level!!

New Things.....

Hey guys well what can I say the past few months have been super busy here at Sage & Clover!! We have decided to expand and move to the south!!! Crazy right??
Well I did it and not a day to late as it has proven so far to be a great decision for myself and Sage & Clover. We now have an office in NY as well as NC!!! Go Sage & Clover!!!
This decision came after taking a long look at the market and saying "wow there is great talent in the south" and by great talent we mean in all art forms.
 I have had the great opportunity to work in and be around Downtown Wilmington and just love it!! They have such great shops and a vibe like no other. We are going to be working in the area and have some great events coming up. I have even had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful business man that owns a Promotion Company, Hypnotized Promotions in the area that will be working with Sage & Clover, to get our first events off the ground and moving in the right direction ( keep checking back as post about this company is soon to follow and will not disappoint) !!!
 I have to say coming down here from NY was a huge step but a really great one. Don't get me wrong I will be going back to NY from time to time and of course traveling along the east coast for business and of course well.....just my love for NYC in general.... But while down here I am really enjoying all that the area has to offer.
For one I have been able to pop into some of the local boutiques and get the feel of the area from store owners and clients alike, and I have to say the old saying "Southern Charm" is real!! The people I have met are as sweet as sugar and really honestly go out of there way to make you feel welcome and just well have a great time. I have also walked into a few of the local bars and pubs and had a chance to listen to some of the local bands. Again talent is not lacking in this area by any means!!
Of course the first thing on my list being a high-strung NY chick was to find a great coffee shop, sure there is Starbucks ( I would have gone bananas with out one, may have even left) but wanted to find something else. I have been a daily client at a coffee shop company down her named Port City Java, which doesn't disappoint and gives me a chance to chat with the locals and familiarize myself with the area even more so.

There truly is so much to write about as far as the boutiques, eateries, and talent in the area....

Winter is not over!!

I had the pleasure of meeting with Kathy Wilson, the very talented designer of Kathy Wilson Atelier. We met at a local eatery in Brooklyn and had lots to discuss.....
 As I walked in I was greeted by a very sweet, out-going 4 foot something dynamic women. Let me clarify, she is petite by all standards but not to be messed with when it comes to her vision and passion of fashion! I had talked to her via phone and e-mails, and when we met it was as if I had known her for years.
I was very quickly  impressed, as she introduced herself and started telling me her story of how she started as a designer and what she wanted to accomplish. She grew up in the California area and  was a resent transplant to NYC.
I could tell right away that this women had a story and a mission and was going to express it through her passion of designing clothing.
She had brought along her look books and I have to say I was very impressed;she has designed a line for both women and Men. Yes Men,we quickly both agreed that there is a lack of Men's clothing options out there(I will get into that in future posts,More Men's lines please!)
She has designed a very classic yet youthful line that can carry you from the board room to lounge, geared toward the 20 & 30 something age group who has and will be accomplished.

In addition to this line ,she has deigned a line of coats for women, I personally have a love of coats and love what she has designed. Coats are one of those things you buy and never ever want to get rid of or give away. They are classically tailored and all have a beautiful lining!

As a rep. I have been asked for more coats and have found my designer in this department!! So Yayee for Coats and Yayee, for Sage & Clover for finding a wonderful coat designer!
