Hello Friends

This is the first post from Sage & Clover! I am so very excited about this. Let me tell you all a little about me as we get started on this journey. I am a fashion representative that lives and works here in NY. I have been in the fashion industry for over 20 years. Yes that is right over 20 years!! I had my first job at a local boutique at 13. The job basically required me to fold pairs of jeans over and over and I have to be honest here folks... I loved it. I loved watching people come in and out of the store and try on different styles and decide what looks best on them. I worked in all types of retail stores, both "big box" and boutiques, and have had the opportunity to work with many talented people in the process. After working in many aspects of the fashion industry,I took a long hard look at what it was I loved most of this industry and decided to take things into my own hands and start my own business.  I have met such amazing talented people in my life and learned so much from all of them that I wanted to share this experience with others. That is where I came up with the vision of Sage & Clover.
I have decided to match the "Best" with the "Best" meaning, finding the "Best" designers and placing them into the "Best" stores and retail venues that fit the needs of both parties.
Why am I so passionate about this? Every one has a story, and I have found that most are truly amazing and heart felt stories.
When meeting with a designer they have a story, a story of how they ended up where they are in the moment, how they came to become a designer, what journey they have taken in life and how they view and perceive the world threw the eyes of an artist. I have to say here that I see designers as artists and really admire them all.
Store and boutique owners alike also hold their own story, that of a dream of one day opening their own store or boutique. Whether it is a dream of a Mother and Daughter finally turning the key to their own shop or a businessman that worked for years in a completely different field, and that finally decided to follow their Dream of being a store owner.
That is where Sage & Clover comes in, we take both of these "stories" and make a dream come true. We place the "Best" designers, artists, visionaries into the "Best" stores, boutiques and retail venues that fill that gap.
Through out this blog I will be posting on various subject in the fashion industry. From designers we are featuring to upcoming shows that they will be attending and all beautiful references in between.
